This page exists to provide context around living with a chronic condition and long-term surgical complications, including life with an ileostomy and parastomal hernia.

It reflects the practical realities of rest, recovery, adaptive living costs and sustaining daily life when health is unpredictable.

There is no pressure to give and no expectation of engagement. This space simply exists for transparency, understanding and quiet support, offered gently and received only if it feels right.
