On The Hard Days

This space holds the days when things feel heavier, physically, emotionally or both. Here you will find writing for moments of pain, fatigue, fear, grief and uncertainty.

The days when symptoms flare, sleep fractures, energy disappears or hope feels harder to reach. The days when living with a parastomal hernia, ileostomy or chronic condition asks more than you have to give.

These posts are not about fixing, pushing through or reframing everything positively. They are about naming what is hard, staying present with it and offering quiet permission to rest, slow down and soften expectations.

This is a place for honesty without urgency. For low-demand days. For sitting with discomfort instead of rushing away from it.

If today is a hard day, you are not failing, you are responding to reality.

You are welcome here exactly as you are.
